FIAMM Energy Technology is a multinational company working in the production and distribution of batteries for energy storage for vehicles and industrial applications established after the separation of the business unit for automotive and industrial lead batteries from the FIAMM Group.

In February 2017, FIAMM Energy Technology officially became part of the Hitachi Group. To meet the needs of our customers, FIAMM Energy Technology has around 20 sales and technical offices and a wide network of importers and distributors. It works with 1,000 employees. The production of car batteries is located in Italy in the production locations of Avezzano (AQ) and Veronella (VR). The second plant, built in 1999, is equipped with the most modern technologies and boasts numerous certificates: it has a production capacity among the highest in Europe, with the processing of raw materials of 280 thousand kg / day, 2 million tiles per day and 7 dedicated lines. The FIAMM quality system is certified with ISO 9001: 2008, ISO / TS 16949: 2009.
